Forests take years of care to grow. Robotanica is building a robotics business to help make that care possible at scale. We start in commercial greenhouses, developing robots for the daily work of growing plants.

Prototype in development
The first product: a greenhouse robot.
Inspecting crops. Moving seedlings. Weeding. The work returns every day, and every task takes a grower’s time. We’re developing a robot to share that workload.
Our first prototype combines a mobile base, cameras and a robotic arm for greenhouse crop care. OpenFactory, our operations software, is designed to connect the robot’s work with irrigation, nutrients and climate control.

Our entry market is commercial greenhouses: repeatable tasks, a defined environment and customers with a direct stake in better plant care. The strategy is to turn that need into a viable robotics business, then use the revenue, technology and operating experience to expand into tree nurseries and restoration.

Robotanica exists to restore the biosphere. Our long-term goal is to help add one trillion adult trees to Earth. That means caring for trees long enough for them to become forests, with the people who live and work alongside them.
The right species, in the right place, with water, healthy soil and care over time. That is the work our technology must eventually support. The greenhouse is where we begin learning how to make plant care repeatable and economically sustainable.
